The first trailer for Robert Pattinson‘s upcoming drama is here!
A24 dropped a look at the new movie Primetime, which the 40-year-old actor stars in as Chris Hansen. You likely know the name. He is the guy behind the true-crime program on Dateline NBC, To Catch a Predator, which documented the journalist’s efforts to capture suspected child predators through the help of police and a team pretending to be minors online.
The movie plans to chronicle the show’s origins. And set up as a split screen throughout the trailer, you see several clips of the bad guys and Robert as Hansen as he questions these predators after catching them on camera, all while saying:
“What would have happened if I wasn’t here? You see how this looks, right? At the end of the day, a man must be held accountable for the decisions that he makes. Would you agree? Do you watch television? Well, there’s something you should know. I’m Chris Hansen with Dateline NBC — and you’re able to be a part of television history.”
Chilling! Watch the trailer (below):
There is no release date for the film yet. What are your reactions, Perezcious readers? Drop ’em in the comments (below)!
