Everyone needs to vent now and then, but damn, Roberto Cavalli is on a roll!!
After giving Michael Kors a bad rap recently by calling him a copycat, Roberto’s now crying foul on the widely-accepted convention of fashion houses dressing celebrities.
Before his Just Cavalli show at Milan Fashion Week on Thursday, he stated:
“I wish fashion were less tied to communication and stars. I can’t understand all these fashion companies spending millions to dress celebrities. And the fault is also that of the media that fuel this frenzy.”
Cavalli then went on to diss certain top shelf houses who use celebrities as their campaign faces.
That├óΓé¼Γäód be totally cool for him to say and all…if he wasn├óΓé¼Γäót involved in dressing some of the biggest celebs out there!!!
He IS the man behind Miley Cyrus’ tour costumes, is he not??
Does being tied to Smiles’ Bangerz wardrobe not count as “being tied to stars”???
We’re a little confused. Guess it was just wishful thinking?
