Steal from the poor to pay for a rich man’s funeral? Not on his watch!
A dutiful citizen of El Lay (or a famewhore, we haven’t decided yet) has filed a creditor’s claim against the Michael Jackson estate, on behalf of the entire City of Angels.
Jose Freddie Vallejos insists it was illegal for Los Angeles officials to underwrite the Michael Jackson memorial last July for $3.3 million and feels since the memorial only benefited the estate, the estate should pay the bill – in full!
Sounds about right to us, but we doubt it will happen. Not even his kids have gotten close to his $$$.
Besides, considering the fiscal shiz hole California is in at the moment, paying for MJ’s funeral is the least of El Lay’s worries.
