Robin Roberts had a bone marrow transplant back in September to treat her MDS.
Since then, she’s been recovering, getting stronger and healthier each day.
She recently hit a big milestone, and tweeted:
“Every morning I mark the day post my bone marrow transplant. Today I reached a major milestone├óΓé¼┬ªDay 100! Blessings..XO.”
100 days is a realllll long time but how important is that mark??
The doc who did her transplant, Dr. Gail Roboz said:
“We have to watch patients super closely for 100 days. We don’t trust anything for the first 100 days. After that, we’re happy.”
How ahmayzing is that?!
It looks like she’s out of the woods!
