Robin Roberts underwent a bone marrow transplant five months ago, and after waiting super lonnnng to make her way back to Good Morning America, she finally returned, and even received a video greeting from Barack and Michelle Obama!!
Happy about being on air again, Miz Roberts said:
“I keep pinching myself, and I realize that this is real, this is actually happening. I don’t have my froggy slippers on. Faith, family and friends have brought me to this moment and I am so full of gratitude.”
And to make her return even better, FLOTUS told Robin that she was looking forward to their interview that’s about to go down in the next few days.
The anchor certainly got a welcome that was more than sufficient — especially because the Obamas pretty much rolled out the red carpet for her!!
