Rod Blagojevich’s Jail “Journey” Begins!

And so it begins!
The former governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich, who disgraced himself, his family, and the world of politics with his many acts of pig-headedness (17 counts, to be exact,) is being served up a steaming plattter of jail-house justice.
Blagojevich left Thursday morning for Englewood correctional facility in Colorado, where he will join other white-collar criminals like Jeffrey Skilling, the former COO of Enron.
In an emotional press conference on Wednesday outside his Chicago home, Blagojevich referred to his impending prison sentence as:

“…a dark and hard journey…This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, but this is the law and we follow the law and I will begin to do that tomorrow.├óΓé¼┬¥

So NOW the law is important. Where is all this righteousness stemming from, Blago?
Perhaps if you had appropriated this attitude before you tried to sell Obama’s senate seat, you could have avoided this fuster cluck of a situation.
That’s one more point for We The People to claim over all the corrupting, slimy, power-thirsty, greedy little munchkins who creep in the shadows of government.
Yay!
