WWE Legend Rowdy Roddy Piper Has Died At 61

Roddy died of cardiac arrest in his home.
So sad.
Rowdy Roddy Piper has passed away at 61 years old. The WWE star died of a heart attack in his Hollywood home on Thursday night.
In the ’80s, the wrestling legend was one of the biggest names in the sport. The athlete’s rep is very upset at his passing, saying:

“Rod was a good friend as well as a client and one of the most generous, sincere and authentic people I have ever known. This is a true loss to us all.”

Nine years ago, Roddy — whose real name is Roderick George Toombs — was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. But last year he said his cancer was in remission.
The Canadian had been pretty active on Twitter this week. On Thursday, he wrote about how he was supposed to appear on The Inappropriate Earl Podcast Friday afternoon.
The wrestler leaves behind his wife and four kids.
Our hearts go out to Roddy’s loved ones during this difficult time.
