Roger Ebert Responds Insensitively To Ryan Dunn's Death

Ouch.

We understand what he’s trying to say, but still – this is extremely insensitive!

Although the news just broke that Jackass star Ryan Dunn passed away after a car accident early this morning, Roger Ebert took to Twitter to respond to allegations that he was drinking before getting behind the wheel!

He wrote:

“Friends don’t let jackasses drink and drive.”

We certainly agree that driving after drinking is wrong, we think there’s no reason – especially RIGHT NOW – that anyone should be pointing fingers or poking fun at a truly tragic situation.

Everyone makes mistakes, and this is somebody’s son. Too soon, Roger.
