Coparenting isn’t easy, especially when it’s happening in the public eye, but Roger Mathews is trying to make things as seamless as possible between him and Jenni “JWoww” Farley.
The estranged husband of the Jersey Shore: Family Reunion star is pleading on social media for less negativity as they navigate divorce and coparent their two children.

In an Instagram post on Monday, the 43-year-old is seen in the front seat of his car while their daughter Meilani and son Greyson sleep behind him in their car seats. The father-of-two captioned his post:
“Happy Memorial Day everyone. There seems to be an overflow of negative comments both toward me and toward Jenni on many of my posts still. I’m a big boy and a proud supporter of free speech, I can take it. Jenni also has tough skin and can take it however the comments as to who the better parent is, or who spends more time our children are unnecessary. I accept my responsibility in the divide I caused In the eyes of the public but I’ll always post about my children and if we can move past the negativity certainly it wouldn’t be to much to ask for everyone else too. We both love our children emphatically and always will. It takes far more effort and energy to be negative than it does to be positive. Enjoy this beautiful day.”
Ch-ch-check out his sweet family video (below):
The reality star filed for divorce from her husband in September 2018 after nearly three years of marriage, and confirmed her new relationship with Zack Clayton Carpinello in April.
Despite the MTV-worthy drama between the soon-to-be exess, they recently spent Easter together as a family, and Mathews has been surprisingly supportive of the new relationship. He dished soon after the couple went public that the pro wrestler is a “good friend of her little brother,” and that the two have been together for “a few months.” The 24-year-old was even a guest at their October 2015 wedding. LOLz!
Roger continued:
“He seems like a terrific guy and they seem to really be happy, and I’m very happy for them.”
However, Miz Farley doesn’t seem as interested in spreading the love. As we reported, she spilled some serious tea in a since-deleted Instagram Story post, calling Mr. Mathews out on his poor parenting:
“When you find out on Wednesday your kids will Be with someone other than their father over the weekend because he wants to rage during HIS time because it’s been planned ‘for months’ yeahhh ok… Loving all your ‘dad posts,’ Please keep over posting… really shows how ‘involved you are.'”
Yikes!
