Roman Polanski's Victim Wants The Case Halted

Samantha Geimer, the rape victim of Roman Polanski, wants prosecutors to stop the case against the director.
“Enough is enough. This matter should have been resolved 33 years ago…People say I have ulterior motives. That doesn’t make it true. I’ve felt this way from the beginning,” she says, adding that he isn’t a threat to anyone. “At 76 years old? I don’t think so.”
But officials in both LA And Washington say they will continue using their limited options to pursue Polanski. State Department spokesman Philip Crowley says:
“A 13-year-old girl was drugged and raped. This is not a matter of technicality.”
