Move over, Challengers! There’s a new steamy tennis story on the horizon — and David and Victoria Beckham’s son is starring!
On Monday, Studiocanal and Manna Studios announced their latest project: a sports film starring Romeo Beckham and The Animal Kingdom’s Paul Kircher titled Forty Love. But there’s a kick! It’s not just a standard competition story. It’s set to center around a gay romance between Romeo and Paul’s characters! According to the plot synopsis, Paul plays Sacha Gallo, a tennis pro training with his father for a prestigious game in Paris… that is until another charming player (Romeo) enters the scene and changes everything:
“For the first time, [Sacha] faces an opponent of an entirely different nature — love. A force as exhilarating as it is destabilizing — and far more dangerous than anything he has encountered on the court.”

The film, which is directed by fashion photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti, also stars Guillaume Canet, Benjamin Voisin, and Catherine Deneuve. And it also marks Romeo’s FIRST ever acting role! What a debut!
