Metta World Peace aka Ron Artest is reportedly in talks to join the next season of Dancing with the Stars.
Producers are looking for A-list talent for this upcoming season and are romancing the Los Angeles Laker. Ron seems pretty excited about the show too, but a deal hasn’t been made yet.
If the NBA lockout ends early though, his basketball obligations could interfere with DWTS rehearsal schedule. This may not be a problem though because producers say that there will NOT be a minimum rehearsal requirement for this season.
Not sure if that’s the best idea…especially if Ron has two left feet. BUT, we’d love to see him on the show. He’s a cool guy with a big heart. Maybe he’ll achieve World Peace through his dancing.
