This was shocking!
It didn’t seem like anybody could possibly defeat Ronda Rousey, but Holly Holm proved EVERYONE wrong with a huge second-round knockout at UFC 193 on Saturday night, upsetting Rousey and shocking the world!

Things got messy even before the fight, when Rousey and Holm went to the weigh-in and nearly started throwing punches in front of all the media members there to take pictures:
Rousey’s caption on that Instagram video was SO aggressive, too:
Fake ass cheap shotting fake respect fake humility bitch – “preacher’s daughter” my ass – I see through your fake sweet act now – you’re getting your ass kicked tomorrow, and I’m really going to enjoy the beating I give you #andSTILL
Whoa!!
So does that mean Rousey would’ve come out punching and defeated Holm in short order like the champ had done so many times before?
Well… nope!

Ch-ch-check out some of the highlights from the fight, which include Holm’s second-round victory after kicking Rousey in the neck and knocking her out:

Holm was ecstatic after the fight, telling reporters:
“She’s won a lot of fights and imposed her will on a lot of fighters, so I expected her to be aggressive and impose her will on me. She had me on the cage for a minute and obviously she was trying in for a take down right there … she had a lot of things she was trying so I’m just glad I put in the practice.”
Yeah, no kidding!
Dana White, the head of the UFC, relayed Rousey’s feelings about the whole situation — because they fighter had to be taken to the hospital after the bout to deal with health issues related to that kick to the neck:
“She was transported (to hospital) because she got knocked out. Obviously she’s completely bummed out and depressed. And we don’t make fights the night of the fight, but a rematch makes a lot of sense. The rematch is what the people want to see.”
That would certainly be an inneresting rematch!!
