Over a week ago, it was really unclear what would happen to Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley‘s relationship after a very public spat on social media. Now, it appears they’re both civilly co-parenting in effort to make things normal for their one-month-old daughter, Ariana Sky.

A source close to the Jersey Shore star tells People of the exes’ improving relationship:
“Ronnie’s been doing better. He’s been going to the gym, working on himself. And things with Jen have been pretty calm, surprisingly. It’s getting a lot better.”
The insider adds:
“They are trying to work things out and co-parent. They’re splitting time with the baby and just want her to have the best life. He just wants to do the right thing for his daughter.”
As for a romantic reconciliation, the source says “relationship-wise, they’re being cautious” — which is probably for the best:
“They can be toxic together, When things are good, they’re good, but when they’re bad, they’re really bad. When you put two alphas in a room together, they’re going to clash.”
Let’s just keep the focus on Ariana then!
