If you’ve been watching Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, you know it was hinted that Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola‘s absence on the show was because Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is still in love with her.

To catch you up, during a conversation with Snooki (who claims he still has feelings), Ron says:
“I think I just miss the feeling of like, security. Because that’s what she gave. And that’s so f├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ing hard to find. And I feel like that’s why I am the way I am and will continue to be the way I am. ├óΓé¼┬ª Every man wishes that he can be with the love of his life. Like, being with someone for seven years and then you don’t end up with that person? Yeah, it hurts.”
Although that’s pretty telling, a source is now insisting that the reality star is definitely over is ex, telling People:
“He’s not in love with Sam anymore. It was a fun topic for the season. I mean, did you not laugh at the Sam doll? Editing just got him every time he spoke about her.”
That’s probably for the best considering he has his own relationship with Jen Harley and new baby to deal with now!
