Congratulations to Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix! No joke!
The couple are expecting their first child, as confirmed by a source spilling to Us Weekly on Tuesday!
Rooney and Joaquin first met in 2012 on the set of the science fiction romance Her but didn’t begin dating until after they co-starred again in the Biblical drama Mary Magdalene in 2016. This is both their first child together AND the first for either of them.

According to the insider, the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo star is already about to pop!
“Rooney is about six months along. Joaquin is great and has been accompanying her to appointments.”
Wow! So far along already! We guess that’s what happens when a couple is able to stay as private as these two!
As an inside source explained back when their relationship was first revealed:
“They don’t really like to go out. They mainly just like to be with each other as the two of them. They’re in their own bubble.”
Well, soon they’ll mainly just like to be together as the three of them!
