An Emotional Rory Feek Admits He Can Still Feel His Late Bride's Presence

Joey and Rory Feek
Rory Feek
continues to reflect on losing the love of his life and mother of his youngest child.
As you know, Joey Feek lost her two-year battle to cervical cancer back in March and the singer’s devoted husband has kept their fans updated in sentimental posts to his blog The Life I Live.
During an interview with the Today show on Tuesday, the grieving dad opened up about the To Joey, With Love documentary (set to air in select theaters on September 20) while admitting he can still feel his late bride’s presence thanks to all the footage recovered from the upcoming film.

Rory shared:

“When Joey passed away in March and we came home to our farm, I couldn’t remember my wife healthy. All those years of marriage and all that life that she had, until I started going through the footage and then I saw her come back to life. I was able, in making the film, to watch her life happen in real time again. It was amazing.”

In fact, the songwriter tries to incorporate Joey in every day happenings on his Tennessee farm with the couple’s two-year-old daughter Indiana:

“[My daughter and I] can sit on our back porch and sort of feel her there. And she’s not far away to watch life happen, so it’s pretty special to be there.”

We’re sure the documentary will be nothing short of a tear jerker!
