Rory Feek has begun funeral arrangements for his beloved wife Joey.
As we reported, the country singer succumbed to terminal cancer on Friday after a hard-fought battle under hospice care in her Indiana hometown.
The 50-year-old devoted husband and father returned to the family’s farm in Pottsville, Tennessee with the couple’s daughter Indiana following Joey’s passing to lay her to rest.

Rory shared a series of photos from back “home:”
Back in November, Rory revealed on his blog This Life I Live that one of Joey’s wishes was to be buried in a “rough-cut wooden box with a cross on it” made from “wood at the farm.”
Adding:
“And find a good spot in the family cemetery in the field behind our house, where we put your mama’s ashes last year. [Leave] room enough beside my headstone for you to join me someday… in God’s time.”
Our hearts go out to the Feek’s as they continue to grieve.
