It’s over for Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro.
The two singers have been together for several years, and back in March, they even announced their engagement with intentions to marry. But it seems as though that won’t be happening now. According to People, the two 30-year-old crooners have split up. Oh, no!
It sounds like their decision to break up was mutual. Citing an insider on Tuesday, the mag reported “they have both agreed to end their engagement.” The outlet also noted the singers still have “love and respect” for each other despite deciding to walk away from marriage plans and a future together.

The pair was first publicly linked in August of 2021 after they were photographed leaving an El Lay restaurant together. Less than a month later, they went public with their romantic relationship on social media.
Since then, they have released a single together — this year’s Beso — as well as a joint EP. Along with that project, they then broke their engagement news to the world back in the spring.
They’ve also been busy getting each other’s names and initials tattooed on their bodies. Last March, Rosalía revealed to Teen Vogue that she got “RR” tattooed on her foot in honor of her then-partner. (Alejandro’s given last name is Ruiz, hence the double-initial connection). Then, a month after that, Rauw revealed he had “Rosalía” stenciled above his bellybutton in a flourishing script font, as well. Some serious, meaningful ink… and all for naught!
