Roseanne Barr Shuts Down Heart Attack Rumors: 'I Was The Victim Of A Prank'

Fear not, says Roseanne Barr!
The former Roseanne star is busy on social media this weekend, shutting down tweeted rumors that she had suffered some type of heart attack.

Late last night, Roseanne posted a rare pic of herself to her Twitter account to refute those claims, showing off what appears to be a healthy, happy state (below):

And she continued from there, later posting a tweet alluding to what was going on with the apparently fake heart attack rumors (below):

I was the victim of a prank. I’ve had no medical issues. I’m spending time at home with my family and relaxing. https://t.co/K9BLAO2cLi

So what happened with this prank, anyways?!

Well, a man alleging to be Roseanne’s assistant named “Frank” called into Sputnik News radio host Lee Stranahan to make the claim that the former TV star was in ill health and had suffered a heart attack.
The call was a fake, as we know now, but at the time Stranahan said Roseanne’s phone number “popped up” on his caller ID when the call came in, leading Stranahan to believe she had truly been suffering a heart attack, as “Frank” reported.
No word on what’s up with this mysterious “Frank” guy, but at least it appears for now that Roseanne is in good health and not suffering from medical issues.
