ABC Might Air Roseanne Spinoff — With A Big Twist!

no title

After Roseanne‘s racist tweets got her show canceled, many felt it was unfair to punish the rest of the cast and crew, not to mention fans of the hit sitcom.

Jimmy Kimmel, for instance, suggested killing the titular character off Two And A Half Men style and just calling the show Dan.

But could the supporting cast of Roseanne really come back for a spinoff without their hate-spewing matriarch?

The problem is Roseanne created the show and has co-creator credit for the other characters — meaning even if she’s not on the show, she’s making money off it.

But according to EW‘s sources, ABC may have another option — use all the supporting cast and writers (whom they already have to pay for another season) in a brand new show!

A sitcom with Laurie Metcalf, John Goodman, Sara Gilbert, Sarah Chalke, and no racism? Sounds like something all of America could get behind!
