O and Ro together at last!
It’s a rarity for Oprah to share her magazine cover with someone else. But this time, O shared the spotlight with Rosie O’Donnell for her the cover of O’s new October issue.
Rosie has taken over The Oprah Winfrey Show studio for her own talk show, which will air on OWN next month so it’s no surprise that Oprah has allowed her to grace the cover of her own magazine. A little cross promotion doesn’t hurt.
O talks about how Rosie was her only competition in the talk show world. She says:
“In 25 years of doing my show only one competitor ever seriously challenged me in the ratings: Rosie O├óΓé¼ΓäóDonnell. From the day Rosie took her place among the crowded field of talk show hosts, I knew she had the ├óΓé¼╦£It├óΓé¼Γäó thing.”
Rosie says that for the first time, she’s “excited” for her new show and that it’s a “new beginning” for her.
We’re excited too! We miss having Rosie on TV. Guess she’s only person who can fill that empty void when Oprah left the air. Tears.
