We were happy to hear on Monday that Rosie O’Donnell had finally begun the process of healing her fractured relationship with estranged daughter.
It sounds like Chelsea O’Donnell is taking care of all her family business — because she also finally filed for divorce!
In case you weren’t keeping up with the O’Donnells, Chelsea is estranged from hubby Nick Alliegro — whose baby she announced she was pregnant with late last year.

She’s now in a relationship with a doting future stepdad named Jacob Bourassa, who doesn’t just treat her well — he’s got Momma’s blessing as well!
When asked about reconnecting with her daughter, Rosie told mental health advocate Mark Henick in a wide-ranging interview on Sunday:
“She’s doing much better now and we’re communicating. She’s in a relationship that seems to be positive and not dangerous anymore, which is a huge plus.”
Considering how against reconciliation Chelsea was when she was still with her last guy, it sounds like all the changes in Chelsea’s life may actually be working together.
​Rosie’s rep confirmed to People Chelsea had filed for divorce from Alliegro in April after two years together.
The future grandma went on to say she thinks her daughter is in a “very happy” place right now.
