We’re just glad she’s okay!
2015 has proven to be a difficult year for Rosie O’Donnell and her family already, but things just got much worse.
That’s because we’re hearing reports the 53-year-old comedian’s estranged wife Michelle Rounds was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday night after attempting to commit suicide.
Apparently, the pair got into a fight over the recent court ruling of their 2-year-old daughter Dakota that gave Rosie full custody, although Michelle was still allowed to see the child.
According to a Daily Mail report, Michelle was found unresponsive in her Nanuet, New York hotel after a friend called Police to let them know she may have been mixing pills and alcohol after the altercation.
This latest development comes just a few weeks after Rosie’s daughter Chelsea ran away from home, and a mere days after the former View host was spotted out with rumored girlfriend Tatum O’Neal.
Luckily, Michelle was released from the hospital on Wednesday afternoon with Rosie by her side, and is currently resting in their NY home.
We hope this sad situation only leads to some positive change in their strained relationship, but we also wish Michelle gets the help she needs during this difficult time.
