Whomp, whomp. That’s what happens when the ratings just aren’t there.
While Rosie O’Donnell is still trying her damnedest to find an audience for her new talk show, hard decisions were made over the weekend to ensure the show will stay on a bit longer on the OWN network.
Thirty employees were reportedly axed last week, making way for their salaries to be funneled into reworking the show to raise the plummeted ratings. In addition, Ro-Ro is getting moved to a smaller studio (less empty seats in the audience) and segments of the show like the house band and game show sequences have been scrapped.
Has the Koosh ball budget been slashed as well? Oh wait, that’s the wrong talk show.
