Pregnant in Heels star Rosie Pope knows a thing or two about pregnancy.
Not only does she help couples prepare for a new baby, but after going though some tough times with fertility treatments, she’s pregnant with her third child.
According to birth statistics, more couples tend to conceive around the holidays than any other time of the year – which is why Rosie has some pregnancy and eating advice for women:
Take your prenatal vitamins.
She suggests taking folic acid at least three months prior to conception.
Cut out substances.
Women hoping to conceive should avoid large quantities of alcohol and quit smoking altogether.
Snack on protein.
Rosie’s favorite snack foods for expectant mothers include Luna bars, almonds, crackers and edamame.
Freeze your favorite meals.
Once the baby has arrived, Pope recommends having frozen and prepared meals ready to go. This way you don’t miss out on a meal.
Get your mom wardrobe ready.
She suggests having five to seven outfits that are clean, interchangeable, and mostly importantly, ready-to-go.
Fabulous advice! Very, very helpful for new mommas!
