With family like this, who needs enemies??
As you’re likely aware, Meghan Markle‘s relatives have done pretty much everything in their power to ruin her royal wedding. For starters, earlier this month, the Suits actress’ half brother Thomas Markle Jr. penned a letter urging Prince Harry to call off the nuptials.

Then, Meghan’s father Thomas Markle Sr. left her embarrassed after he was caught staging paparazzi pics — after the royal family SPECIFICALLY ordered the media to give Miz Markle’s family privacy. To make matters worse, Markle’s estranged half sister Samantha Grant went on to take credit for the photography scandal. Oh, and Grant has been accused of planting unsubstantiated stories in the news. Smh.
As Meghan’s loved ones can’t stay away from the limelight, we can’t say we’re surprised that the Markle patriarch has already commented on the royal wedding. For his reactions to the highly publicized nuptials, be sure to proceed (below)!
During a chat with TMZ, the reclusive industry vet noted that he was “emotional and joyful” while watching the wedding. He noted:
“My baby looks beautiful and she looks very happy. I wish I were there and I wish them all my love and all happiness.”
In case you missed it, following his scandal, Markle was forced to drop out of the royal wedding due to an urgent health scare. In fact, Meghan’s poppa had to undergo heart surgery. Thus, Prince Charles walked the American actress down the aisle!
Despite the recent dramatics, the royal wedding went off without a hitch! We couldn’t be happier for Harry and Meghan!
