Super fab day for horses (and hats)!
Prince William and Princess Kate finally came out of the cave they’ve been hiding in (also sometimes called a palace) and made their first public appearance together in weeks at Saturday’s Epsom Derby, part of “Derby Day” in Epsom, England.
The couple was joined by Prince Harry, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Phillip plus Prince Andrew — all to cheer on the Queen’s horse, Carlton House, in the day’s big race.
Sadly, although the steed was a favorite to win, Carlton (a gift from Sheikh Mohammed of Dubai) placed third behind winner Pour Moi and runner-up Treasure Beach.
But let’s be honest, when you’re royal you never really lose.
