Ruby Franke’s husband is doubling down on the dirt their daughter was dishing.
Last month, Ruby, who once ran the 8 Passengers Mormon lifestyle channel on YouTube before being convicted of child abuse, was hit with some unexpected accusations. Her daughter Shari released a tell-all titled The House of My Mother: A Daughter’s Quest for Freedom, detailing some of the nefarious ways Ruby treated her and her siblings. But one claim that quickly garnered attention was that she and her business partner Jodi Hildebrandt took over Shari’s bedroom after moving in, ostensibly for eerie religious reasons… but maybe for more? Jodi allegedly turned the room into a “honeymoon suite” for her and Ruby! Shari, who was moved to the downstairs couch, even claimed she once saw her mother frantically leaving the bedroom in the middle of the night!
And now, Ruby’s husband Kevin is speaking out.

In a trailer for Hulu’s upcoming docuseries Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke, he corroborates the claims, saying the pair were “uncomfortably intimate.” And of course Jodi had a deeper, weirder hold on Ruby. He explains:
“Weird things started happening. Ruby said the children were demonically possessed.”
Crazy…
After all the shocking child abuse was uncovered in 2023, Ruby and Jodi were both sentenced to 15 years in prison. Watch the full trailer (below):
