As you know, it was confirmed earlier this week that Ruby Rose and The Veronicas‘ Jess Origliasso have rekindled their romance! How exciting!
On Wednesday, the 31-year-old told the Matt & Meshel show that the OITNB star surprised her and her twin sister, Lisa, with a surprise (all expense paid) trip for their sick mom while the band was filming the new music video for On Your Side in New Zealand.
The singer shared:
“Our mum’s been sick and she’s always been an amazing support system in our life and our family’s life. When we were filming On Your Side over in Auckland, she actually surprised us by flying our mum out.”
So sweet, right?

Well, this story came as a response to one of the hosts saying Miz Rose and Jess getting together was just a “showbiz lesbian relationship” in order to promote their project together.
Smh.
Lisa also chimed in to prove the romance isn’t a publicity stunt for the music video (which was written by and stars Ruby) by attesting to the actress’s “beautiful heart:”
“She also had Vin Diesel make my mum this beautiful motivational video. She just called in a favor from Vin. My mum’s a huge Fast and Furious fan, so she had Vin make her a video.”
Hm.
