Conservative hoo-ha Rush Limbaugh has placed a bid to buy the St. Louis Rams, which has sent liberal members of the NFL and Democrats into a tizzy!
According to reports, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the NFL will not stand for Limbaugh’s “divisive comments… [which] are not what the NFL is all about.”
Diss!
Over on Capitol Hill, Democratic Texas rep. Sheila Jackson Lee is leading a campaign against the conservative talk show host, hoping to convince the NFL that Limbaugh is the wrong man for the job.
In case you forgot, Limbaugh quietly left ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown in 2003 because he stated on-air that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb was “overrated because the media wanted to see a black quarterback succeed.”
Is this the kind of guy who should own a football team?????
