Russell Crowe is now officially Jor-El, Superman‘s daddy in the upcoming Zack Snyder/Christopher Nolan reboot of the franchise!
He’s now in the final stages of negotiations for the part once played by Marlon Brando in 1978, which Nolan had been looking to fill with an A-list star. Looks like he got his man!
This was one of the last parts to cast, but they’re also looking for someone to play Supe’s biological mom as well. Not much is known about the plot so far, in typical Nolan fashion.
Congrats to Russell, and we’ve thought about it and are really coming around to the idea of it being a good fit for him!
