Last night, a memorial was held in the Hollywood Hills for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Russell Armstrong. His wife, Taylor Armstrong, was joined by her costars to say good-bye to Russell, but she was not joined by her husband’s family, who opted to decline their invitation.
Russell’s parents and family reportedly refused to attend the funeral, claiming that they felt like it was more of a publicity stunt for Taylor than a way to remember Russell. Instead, the Armstrong family will be having their own memorial for Russell in Texas in the next several weeks. As one sources explains:
“Let’s face it, there is no love lost between Taylor and Russell’s family. Russell’s family wanted no part of the memorial, they felt it was all for Taylor. Taylor was relieved that they didn’t attend. She wanted to be surrounded by her friends and just say good-bye to Russell.├óΓé¼┬¥
Sounds like it was for the best. The last thing anyone needed was a fight to break out during the service. This way, everyone gets the chance to remember them the way they want to, with the people they want to. We just hope Russell’s parents put their differences aside for Kennedy’s sake. Poor little girl needs all of her family around her right now.
