We’re sure everyone who was excited to go to one of Russell Brand‘s upcoming shows is disappointed, but they completely understand.
With the news that Russell’s mom, Barbara, has cancer — breast cancer, for the second time — he has canceled a sold-out show at Derby’s Assembly Rooms tonight to spend time with her.
He also recently canceled a show in Glasgow, citing “family reasons.” It was in a video blog that he spoke about her illness.
We wish her nothing but the best, and we’re sure Russell has found the best doctors to take this on.
