Russell Brand Will Be CHARGED For iPhone Toss

Remember when Russell Brand threw a pestering photographer’s iPhone through a glass window in New Orleans back in March?
Since iPhones don’t smash windows, but people throwing them do, the city’s District Attorney’s office has decided to go ahead and file charges.
Luckily for the comedian, however, he isn’t facing a felony charge. Instead of facing two years behind bars, he’ll only be facing six months if he’s convicted of the misdemeanor criminal damage to property charge against him.
Brand had the foresight to see this case coming, so he’s already got a powerful lawyer on his side and is ready to fight the charges.
Wonder if his Steve Jobs tribute argument will hold up in court? Ha!
