As reported earlier, Russell Brand did a no-no and snatched a photog iPhone and chucked through a window (for Steve Jobs). Now, he has to pay his debt society … and that doesn’t come cheap.
Grand total for his repentance? 5,000 dollars.
The actor turned himself in and was booked on two counts of simple criminal damage to property by the Nawlins Sheriff’s Office.
Russell posted his $5K bail and is once again a free man!
He has also agreed to pay for the window he smashed, which totaled a whopping $240.
Let’s not snatch anymore phones, Russell!!! Or at the very least, stop fighting with the paparazzi. This is like, what? The third time now? We think you’ve made your point!
UPDATE: Russell is roaming the streets of Nawlins once again, with a mystery lady in tow, HOURS after he was released.
