Ryan Gosling Runs Walks Away From Logan's Run Remake

Nooo!!! There is no sanctuary!
At least none we want any part of without Ryan Gosling to keep us company and stroke our hair and tell us we’re perfect just as we are…
What were we saying? Oh, right.
According to Variety‘s Justin Kroll, the Gangster Squad star will NOT be chasing down runners in the Logan’s Run remake. Justin tweets:

“Rough news for those LOGAN’S RUN fans, I can confirm Ryan Gosling is no longer attached to the project”

We expected Ryan to be a lock as long as his Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn was attached. But this sounds pretty definitive.
Oh well. Perhaps he’ll renew?
