After it was reported that Ryan Gosling turned down People Magazine’s sexiest man alive title because he’s “too artsy”, the mag released an official statement refuting those claims.

“While I look forward to the day when Ryan Gosling is named Sexiest Man Alive, this was not his year. Our 2014 honouree Chris Hemsworth was our first and only choice. If you want to know why, just look at him. I mean, seriously.”
While we love us some Chris, we’re still SO confused as to why Ryan has never been named the sexiest man! It’s such a travesty!
