We’re not even surprised!
Charlie’s Angels costar and one of Farrah Fawcett‘s closest friends, Kate Jackson, claims that she was banned from seeing her friend during the actress’ last moments because she was being controlled by longtime beau Ryan O’Neal and friend Alana Hamilton Stewart.
“I was shut out,” says Kate. “I was prevented from saying goodbye to one of my best friends.”
She remembers the moment she realized that she would never see Farrah again.
“I was walking across the lobby at her apartment, carrying a shopping bag with apples, grapes, green tea and as I got toward the elevator, the security guard yelled out ├óΓé¼╦£Ms Jackson, no-one upstairs.├óΓé¼Γäó I turned around, looked at the guard and said, ├óΓé¼╦£What?├óΓé¼Γäó I was stunned,” she continued.
And she was rightfully distraught!
├óΓé¼┼ôI walked over to him. I was really incredulous because this particular guard and had seen me from the beginning. I asked him why and he said he didn├óΓé¼Γäót know, but it had come from upstairs,” Jackson said. ├óΓé¼┼ôFrom that moment on, we weren├óΓé¼Γäót able to see or talk to Farrah, again. It was very upsetting.”
Kate confronted Alana regarding the situation and her explanation was that Farrah didn’t want anyone to see her like that. Yet, the whole world was about the see her in that very state because of the documentary, Farrah’s Story, which was Alana’s project.

├óΓé¼┼ôOn the miniscule possibility that what Alana said was true, I did not wish to do something against Farrah├óΓé¼Γäós wishes and just burst in,” said Kate. ├óΓé¼┼ôOn the chance it was Farrah├óΓé¼Γäós wishes, we all didn├óΓé¼Γäót want to upset her. I wanted to respect her wishes.”
Kate admitted that she has not spoken to Ryan O’Neal or Alana Hamilton Stewart since Farrah’s funeral last year.
