Ryan O'Neal Is Suing Over Warhol Claims

Ryan O

Craig Nevius has been after Ryan O’Neal for years about a painting done by Andy Warhol (valued at $30 mil) of the late Farrah Fawcett.

Nevius claims, because Farrah left all of her art collection to the University of Texas, that Ryan stole the Warhol and has kept it illegally.

Ryan says that because Andy was a close friend, the painting was actually given to him, and because of all the things that Nevius has claimed, Ryan is entitled to defamation damages:

Last month, “Good Morning America” and Star Magazine ran stories that O’Neal was being investigated for theft — something O’Neal calls “false, malicious and defamatory.”

The stories triggered a demand from the University of Texas that O’Neal turn the portrait over, stat.

O’Neal says Nevius has been wretched for years, selling medical information about Farrah to the tabloids as she battled cancer. He says he’s suffered “humiliation, mental anguish and emotional distress,” and he’s been damaged in excess of $1 million.

Has he really cause that amount of pain to you, Ryan, or is this your way of telling him to back off? Just because people are pestering you doesn’t mean you’re experiencing $1 mil+ of that.

The real question is: who’s telling the truth here? Wasn’t there an exact list of Farrah’s art to be given away? Where’s that? Why WOULDN’T there be??

Do U think Ryan has grounds to sue? Who is telling the truth here?!
