On Sunday, Ryan Phillippe took to Twitter and Instagram to reveal that he has badly broken his leg. Oh no!

After simply writing, “this sucks” on Twitter, the A-lister added alongside the IG photo (above):
“I’m going to be ok & i appreciate your concern. -me”
However, once fans began speculating that he injured himself on the set of Shooter, Reese Witherspoon‘s ex got specific about how exactly he broke his leg.
On Monday, the industry vet clarified:
1. hey, guys. i didn’t injure myself doing a stunt or anywhere near the set of shooter. i was the victim of a freak accident during a family

Phew! We can’t blame Ryan’s fans for being concerned as The Walking Dead crew just suffered a terrible loss after a stuntman fell to his death on set.
Nonetheless, we’re just happy to hear that the Cruel Intentions alum is on the mend. Get better soon, bud!
