Ryan Reynolds may be the foul-mouthed superhero in Deadpool, but at home he’s just a family man!
On Tuesday, Blake Lively‘s husband dished about how he and his wife keep their highly publicized relationship so private — especially now that the Self/less actor is a dad to daughter James.
The 39-year-old shared with Australia’s The Project:
“I think it’s always a fine line. I’ve never been the guy stumbling out of bars at three in the morning, at least that anyone is aware of. It’s never been my thing.”
Well that’s fair!

The Hollywood hunk currently lives in New York with Miz Lively and their 11-month-old which definitely helps keep the trio stay out of the public eye. Well, with the exception being when they SLAY it on the red carpet.
He continued:
“I think it’s keeping a boundary that there’s this world that is the job and the world that is the home. We don’t live in LA. We live on a farm in New York. And we don’t lead a wild and crazy life. It’s not that hard. It’s not a big deal.”
Sorry, we just got distracted thinking of Ryan in a farmer’s outfit. WE KID… sort of!
Still, the Canadian native has quite the lengthy IMDB page, so it’s hard to believe that he and the Gossip Girl alum often lay low. When asked if he’d let his tiny tot watch any of his flicks, the industry vet quipped:
“Well, that’s a good question. There are some she shouldn’t see because they are awful. Let’s call a spade a spade. Luckily I have a couple of children’s movies under my belt. The Croods is one she would enjoy and maybe Turbo. She could see those.”
That’s a smart move!
Nonetheless, we’re so happy to hear that things are going so great for Marvel movie regular and his lady. Way to slay!
