Blake Lively‘s man has been making his media rounds promoting his new movie Deadpool — and one thing he can’t help gushing about is his growing family!
Which only makes him a million times hotter, if you ask us!

The 39-year-old graces this week’s cover of People where he revealed he secretly hoped for a girl when Serena Blake became pregnant with little James (who Ryan adorably calls “Shrimpie”):
“Having a daughter was a dream come true for me. I would have made a terrible king.”
As the youngest of four boys, the Canada native said he was “less a sibling and more of a moving target” growing up.
So it’s easy to see why now he doesn’t mind being the only male in the house!
The Green Lantern star continued:
“I never admitted it out loud, to myself or my wife, but I really wanted a little girl. It’s the best. I don’t have to prepare to be wrapped around my daughter’s finger. I have been wrapped around her little finger since the day she plopped out into this world.”
Awww. Our hearts!
