Well, would you look at that?
Ryan Seacrest was announced this morning at The Hollywood Reporter‘s fourth annual Reality Power List, stealing the title from his former American Idol colleague Simon Cowell, who held the number one spot in ’09 AND ’10!
Wowza!
Rankings are determined by “quality and innovation within the business; the indelible mark one makes on his or her shows as executive, producer, or talent; one’s overall impact on pop culture, one’s ability to create dramatic, comedic and can├óΓé¼Γäót-miss TV moments.”
Well, given the name he’s built for himself as a producer, radio personality, and American Idol host, we’d say it’s a well-deserved honor!
But we wonder if next year, once The X Factor is up and running, Simon will back from the six spot to one!
Only time will tell! Enjoy the spot, Ryan! You’ve earned it!
