Why Salma Hayek Feels ‘Pressure’ To Earn Her Own Money - Despite Being Married To A Billionaire With NO PRENUP!

Salma Hayek is a woman of her own fortune.

The Desperado star may be married to billionaire businessman François-Henri Pinault, but she’s FAR from a gold digger. In fact, she actually still feels “pressure” to earn her OWN money — and she likes it that way! While chatting with the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, the 58-year-old revealed:

“I support a lot of the aspects of my life and myself. I have the pressure to make a certain amount of money, and I like it. And now, I decided, I want to make more.”

François is the CEO of Kering, which owns an array of luxury brands like Balenciaga, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and more. So Salma could easily never lift another finger for the rest of her life! Especially because — get this — she and the French billionaire have “no prenuptial agreement dividing assets.” So what’s his really is hers! Wow! Despite that inneresting fact, she told the outlet they keep their finances “separate” — which she feels is a major turn on for her man! She dished:

“I think he finds it kind of sexy.”

Beauty AND boss energy?? How could he NOT find that sexy?! Ha!

But Salma’s desire to provide a luxurious life for herself didn’t spawn out of thin air. According to the outlet, she was born into wealth as her father Sami Hayek Dominguez was an oil tycoon decades ago. However, he lost his massive fortune by the time she was in her 20s — and that’s when she moved from Mexico to LA and launched her lucrative career in Hollywood to provide for herself and her family. She told the outlet:

“That’s when I became the best version of myself.”

No wonder she still likes the pressure of needing to make money!

But money isn’t everything. And since marrying François in 2009, she’s found it is for a lot of folks at their financial tier — something she kind of hates:

“To me, the excitement about having a lot of money was that I didn’t have to think about money, and it turned out all people wanted to talk to me about was money. Strangers coming to me that aren’t even friends, but they think we should be friends because they’re rich too.”

Yeesh! If you were wondering about all those billionaires palling around like they’re in some kind of club — it sounds like that’s exactly what they think! But Salma is her own woman with her own money!
