A change of pace from Spider-Man, but maybe that’s a good thing!
The man behind KiKi Drunst’s worst acting to date, Sam Raimi, is now stepping behind the lens to helm Disney’s new incarnation of The Wizard Of Oz.
The flick, which totes itself as a more focused look at the wonderful wizard, is still going through a rewrite and is still searching for a suitable actor to play the lead. We’re hearing Robert Downey Jr. is the front runner for the studio, but the SMOKESHOW has turn the offer down several times before.
Maybe now with Sam directing he might reconsider. Who knows?!
All we want to know is when the hell Wicked, the musical MOVIE is hitting theaters??? Any news on that?
