On April 26, a talk show host in Australia, Samantha Armytage, received backlash after making an offensive comment towards mixed race twins.
Basically, Lucy and Maria Aylmer are non-identical twins born from mixed raced parents. What makes the twins an international sensation is that Lucy is darker skinned while Maria is lighter skinned.

While the twins are happy and confident with their identities, Armytage made an offensive and racially charged comment towards the girls which has inspired a petition to fire the talk show host.
