All’s fair in love and war…until your dog becomes a celebrity.
Scott Smith and Anna Camara had a loving relationship and charming Pomeranian named Sammy who liked to give his opinion on New York’s greatest sites and sounds!
They started a website, named “Sammy and the City,” and this pooch became a internet SMASH!
Unfortunately, Smith and Camara broke up and after a few months of cordiality, things got bitter….
QUICKLY!
Camara tried to trademark “Sammy and the City” but Smith wasn’t haven’t it! He also claims Camara left him a surprises too, including deleting his pictures, changes the passwords and stole his iPad to make changes before she returned it.
Now he’s suing for $500,000 and started his own venture, Everybody Loves Sammy.”
Says Smith:
This is my dog, this is my project, and not one bit of it is in my name.
Anna’s a brilliant photographer; what she lacks is business ethics. This is one of the biggest atrocities that has ever happened to a family.
We wouldn’t go that far…but we get his point.
