In San Francisco a Board of Supervisors committee has approved a plan to save birds from smashing into building windows.
They plan to require buildings to have treated glass or other measures to keep the birds from banging into them.
Architects and developers are not too happy because of the added expenses they will incur.
A rep from the Golden Gate Audubon Society said:
“It’s not about being a nanny state, it’s about being responsible for the impacts we have on the environment.├óΓé¼┬¥
