Known as “Victim One,” the first of many alleged sexual abuse victims preyed on by Sandusky from PSU apparently had to leave school in the middle of his senior year due to bullying.
Apparently the kids at the school were blaming him for what had happened, including Joe Paterno‘s firing.
Hold on a second, can we just ask who in their right mind would ever support someone who ethically and morally did not do the right thing instead of the victims that were hurt and scarred for life? In what world does that make sense? We are so tired of hearing that people are upset because he was removed — because absolutely he should have been. It was the right move and the only move for the lack of action on his part. Football DOES NOT TRUMP being sexually abused as a kid. Ever.
Anyway, the school did not provide any support for the victim and did not help with any kind of guidance for the bullying jerks to realize what they were doing was absurdly wrong.
We admire this kid’s strength, even when all the worst things just keep piling on. Seriously, the last thing a sexually abused kid needs is for his peers to blame him for it.
Disgusting.
We support him, and those others finding the power to come forward because of him.
